10 COMMONLY USED WORDS 1. Napangilakan- is used in Filipino meaning nakolekta , the english term is collected or collection. Example: Marami akong napangilakan na medalya mula sa mga nakaraang kompetisyon. 2. Irog- sinta or darling. It is a relationship between a couple. Example: Ako ay makikipagkita sa aking irog . 3. Salipawpaw- eroplano or airplane. It is a vehicle used when you are travelling to other countries or in the Philippines. Example: Kami ay sasakay ng salipawpaw papuntang Singapore. 4. Alimpuyok- is used in Filipino meaning amoy o singaw ng kaning sunog or smell of burning rice/strong emission of steam or smoke in english phrase. Example: Ang kusina ay amoy alimpuyok . 5. Hidhid – hidhid selfish hidhid frugal, stingy hidhid at walang puso egocentric and heartless. The more common words for “selfish” in Tagalog “maramot/makasarili”.
